To 2009 and Beyond!

Finished Series:

Code Geass R2

Code Geass T_T… We all know that this is popular and fabulous… This show really got on my nerves because of lotsa types of Knightmare generations… I actually intended to make a database of the kinds and types but it was a real hassle of keeping up with the updates happening to both sides(Britania and Black Knights). Code Geass will never be the same again without the weekly Sunday rants of the people in the 4chan. I may say that I have lost my reason these days besides image dumping in going to 4chan since I have nothing to look forward to and lurk upon. I always read all the entertaining fan fictions posted in the site. I remember reading Catherine Childs in 4chan as C.C’s name but then, the series didn’t disclosed her REAL name. I guess only Lelouch does know.

Code Geass never sounded to me as a mecha anime when I heard of it. I didn’t even knew that it would turn out as a tragedy. I never really posted anything but the ending of Code Geass R2 but for me… The ending was quite poor besides Lelouch death and C.C.’s another voyage. I mean come on, peace eventually right after Zero is gone? It seemed to me like Zero is the only villain the show when he’s not. I don’t really know the majority of fans that hated or still love the show after Lelouch’s death but I’m part of those who still love it disregarding other else’s and Kallen’s ending since I only saw her as a weak woman who tried to once again cling on Zero’s name just to attain peace and freedom(during ep25). Surely, Code Geass is listed on the must see anime series. Originality-wise though, Death Note introduced the anti-protagonist approach and “justice” theme first so minus two points XD. And oh, by the way, this show is my first appreciated mecha anime. Guren Laggan being the 2nd and Gundam 00 the third. None else.

Zero no Tsukaima 3rd

When I heard this having a third installment, I really rushed to crunchyroll and tried to finish its first and second. Blah blah. I don’t really like the 3rd… Why? It became very senseless and ecchi to the max with all the exaggerated bust sizes of the characters. It also became partly Yuri thanks to the love potion that affects even the same gender T_T. What I have to say to this anime? Well it is not good and it is not soooo bad so I guess it is simply bad. Haha. Don’t worry Zero no Tsukaima 1 has a lot more sense and it is a great show. Zero no Tsukaima 2 is only good on selected episodes while I just can’t find any good episode on 3 T_T. Well I guess I anticipated that much for this anime since I already watched the first two seasons but it really suddenly became worse… What happened to me after watching it? It left me a bad aftertaste that I even carried it when I’m about to watch Toradora which really reminds me a lot of Louise + they are both being voice acted by Rie Kugimiya… Anyway, I suppose this would pursue another season since the ending didn’t really made a sense. AT ALL.

Kure-nai is da best anime I’ve watched last summer ’08. 🙂

I’m really impressed with Miyuki Sawashiro’s voice acting. From Senkouji Hagino in Blue Drop to Tsugumi Aoba in Kannagi. I mean, wow. hehe. I really didn’t know that she voiced Shinkuro Kurenai in Kure-nai till I checked ANN for the credits. LOL!

    😉

Wah, I didn’t expected that since I never really focused in the credits. Anyway, I think all the main characters did a great job in voice acting prior to the short filler opera episode.

I’d love to see more of this anime since the light novel is still ongoing.
