Yay for Macross Frontier. It was a great ending. I’ve been envy to Omni-senpai ever since Friday because he was able to immediately watch it XD. It took me today just to watch it because the release just came yesterday.

I don’t know what happened to Sheryl when her “natural hair” turned into a brownish one. But one thing I’m sure is Sheryl won’t die anymore from the V-Virus because the virus itself have been gone to her womb as well just like Ranka’s. The new earth is just so fabulous with all those scale-like rings.

I really really like the episode because it featured almost all of Macross songs. The song is also sync with the battle so it is very fun to watch with all that Northen Star and Lion XD. sugoi sugoi sugoi. The ending is just epic. Ai-kun also became a fabulous glowing firefly across the galaxy although I’m not so impressed because its ugly XD. I was also confused when Brera said to aim for the head when he also said that they communicate through abdomen. I don’t get the logic — Shouldn’t Alto shoot the abdomen instead of the head??? Oh Wahtever, as long as Grace died >:)

I don’t see any purpose for the barrier around the islands to be still around. It is also kind of stupid to land on the water when the land is so vast XD.

I’m expecting a lot on the movie!!! Haha, I guess they didn’t make the story tragic in order to make the Macross series still perpetual. I really thought they’ll kill someone just like the other mecha shows such as Code Geass and Gundam XP (or to sum up = Sunrise)

Happy ending ~ The ending though is an open ending XD. I don’t care anymore who ends up together… I’m happy that they were all able to survive all. Too bad Michael is the only one who died…

I really appreciate this show. Maybe it is a sequel to the robot stuff I didn’t care less when I was still a child but it is superb. Maybe what made its ratings low is it’s sci-fi concept. I actually intended to make an entry entitled “How the hell sound travel across the space?” but decided not to. The Vajra plot is also confusing because I heard my brother said that it seems every Macross series have a specific “species villain” that they have to defeat in order for humans to continue their existence in the Macross’ universe. Therefore, having Vajras is not so surprising.

If Earth would be destroyed and humans were able to find such a pretty planet such as this, I’ll really really reset my life into nourishing mother earth. It would be a waste if the second chance you were given to would also be taken for granted. I hope the same applies to the people in the Macross’ universe. (daydreaming mode) – But I’m serious XD

I haven’t blogged a lot lately because of priorities I have to set in doing my college stuffs. Anyway, since I have given the spare time to do this. I have to do this entry because I haven’t spend too much entry about Macross Frontier. I was always like –”omg, Michael died” and “yes! Alto has been shot down”. Lol, I grew to hate Alto these days because I don’t see any consistency with regards to his love affair. I also grew empathetic with Sheryl’s status considering I hate her when I first saw her. I’ve been messed up by this show… Luca who seems to be very relaxed and care free during the first episodes also became mentally disturbed because of all the fold quartz stuff. Meanwhile, Grace is still the ever-villain of the show. I found myself in a trap when I saw the cute Ai-kun transformed into a Vajra T_T.

The love triangle became so vague after Ranka decided to go to the Vajra’s Planet. I was like – yes, at last I think Vajra’s would go to the very farthest corners of the universe and leave the Frontier— eventually, peace and that is the end of the show. But because of the latest obstacle Grace had presented, I less likely think that Ranka and Alto will still end up. Instead of negotiation and Ai-kun’s return to the planet, Ranka got caught up in a very serious matter which I think will end up by sacrificing herself just for Alto and the others to continue living.

I also expect Sheryl to die. I don’t really think that she could still be cleansed off. Also, even if it is SherylxAlto end, I doubt Sheryl would let them have a child because of the virus. Which is I think the reason why she always chase away Alto. If Ranka could still be saved, I really really think Sheryl would gave Alto up.

What still figures in me is— If Ranka, Brera and the company came from the Vajra’s Planet(which is depicted on the scene where young Ranka sings Aimo) how the hell did they be able to mount inside the 117th Researh Fleet? Like, without any inspection they just allowed them to aboard the fleet?— Or by any chance, Vajra’s were not yet around? huh??? Then where the hell did they got the virus?

I’m contradicting myself here no? I said Ranka might sacrifice herself, and Sheryl might not accept Alto because of her condition. I don’t really see what will happen to Alto(maybe he’ll return to being Alto-hime XD ) or maybe this anime will just have a tragic ending, it is a battle for survival after all. (like— the end of the whole macross series because the whole mankind will die?) hope not.

This is the first time for me to blog about Macross Frontier even though I have watched it since it’s premier. It’s just that I didn’t watch the previous seasons of Macross.

I didn’t liked the first part of the episode because all they did was to recapitulate what happened so far. Good thing there were songs that didn’t make me bored. So far, it really is puzzling and I like animes like these. There are so many mysteries that awaits to be disclosed. By the way, Grace became the leader of Sheryl’s new project[does that mean Sheryl was dumped? *hehe* go Ranka!!!]. I almost forgot that this series is Macross, a MECHA anime. It almost looked to me as if its a musical anime. Even so, it’s great.

This episode is very hilarious. I did saw Ranka and Sheryl in a showdown! Haha, this episode is cool. Ranka seems to have grown her confidence ever since she was discovered. I emphatize Alto because he has to choose between the two ladies. By the way, quality check, Sheryl looks like a zombie at the hospital.

I haven’t notice that the full version of the song “What ’bout my star? @Formo” also includes May’n if not for this episode. I realized that it really is not Nakajima Megumi’s voice only. The production of this anime seems very expensive. I love the songs that Kanno Yoko makes. The Aimo thing is the only thing very unclear for me because it is Russian. I also kind of annoyed by the song with the lyrics “…Sheryl on stage…” What the hell was that? May’n's gonna say that in a live performance? XD Better not… Or maybe she could do a cosplay of Sheryl while singing it so that it wouldn’t sound awkward. It would look awkward though

I don’t know who makes the choreography of Sheryl and Ranka but it is fun to watch. First, I was kind of searching what the hell is that “nyan nyan” thing… then here goes “kyun kyun” and lastly the “Kirah!” stuff.
