Speech Choir~English Camp
Posted by jitensha on December 2nd, 2007Wah… ngayon lng ulit ako nakapagsulat dito… Well anyways, boring ang English Camp. At first, Sir Dexter announced that activities will be postponed due to some reasons… Hours later, I decided to text my parents to fetch me from the school. They arrived earlier as I expected but the guard won’t allow me to get out. I’ve been staring at other cars that she just let to pass through the gate. I whispered to my mother that she go tell my father to park the car inside so that she won’t be able to do anything. Still, the guard told me to speak personally to Sir Dex to know if students are really allowed to go home. After some negotiations of the guard and Sir Dex, the guard finally told us that those who have service already could go home. That’s the worst camp ever. There wasn’t any activities in the morning.
Yey, I’ve been sleeping in my bed when my Munscian neighbor brought to me the news that they did some activities after I left the school. Tsk, anggulo nila noh!
Now let’s proceed in Speech Choir. It’s been quite a mess in the morning because we planned to boycott the morning classes. Hell yeah, even we planned to practice as early as 7:00 am, the heavy traffic due to Susana Heights constructions gave us a hard time to achieve the quorum of our class. Some of the CAT officers went to Biñan in order to buy fatigue suits that they’ll use for the…[I don’t know what it is…but I don’t really care as well though…] We were able to finish the choreographs for the dramatic execution but our voices are crappy… Well, some says that our voices are too weak but… It all seems that everyone is already yelling… The dry run was 1:00 pm so we were dismissed by 11:00 am to prepare for the upcoming English Camp[sigh…]
About 5:00 pm, we started to apply our props for the Speech Choir. They bought a black face paint and Mei Mei. The Mei Mei thing was very new to me. That does it, the thing that the Faraday used last year.
I hesitated in my mind when they started to apply the face paint as bigotilyo mustache[as if in the Vendetta they say]… It’s a bit funny and not creepy/scary. Mine wasn’t congruent. It is very difficult to apply since there is already Mei Mei.
After some strolling in the ancient building [ancient-old-new], together with some classmates, we saw the dirty 3rd floor due to the Congo participants.Yuck, the third floor was soaking with charcoal.

Our performance was not quite…Ahmm… There was a flaw at the beginning because everyone wasn’t simultaneously speaking. The others says that there was just a few who speaks. Well, our voices are somewhat crooked because we are shouting… I don’t know if everybody knows the ranking but I do. Together with Lovely and Athina, we approached Sir Dex to view the final scores and ranking.
1st - Priestly
2nd - Pascal
3rd - Pasteur
4th - Pythagoras
5th - Pauli
Yeah right, we are the last… One thing I can say is that… Everybody have different perspectives about literature. Being different from what they think is not already wrong. The score 5 was just really rude and cruel. We tried to think of something from our vaguest imaginations yet what we got was just POOR from the scale 1 to 5..? Well, they should have at least gave us 4…
…[I never once belonged to the section that won the first place]…
