Senjougahara, based from the beginning of her arc, has quite isolated herself from the rest of the people due to her unique circumstance of losing her weight and if we would probably look back, she has become a cold character, especially if you’ll observe the way she speaks as well as her initial actions when Araragi found out her circumstance. That isolation should have altered some emotional mechanism inside her– but it looks like, it didn’t.

Ouran is very farfetched (or if not, ridiculous) if you ask me, in terms of its premise. Even the meaning of the words “host club” got me thinking when I first encountered it. Now that it has come to an end, the thought still remains to be ridiculous because the whole idea of running a host club simply for the fun of it, (or maybe for the sake of business, in Kyouya’s case) is rather unlikely. In addition to that, we are brought inside an academy where only the richest of the rich could afford to study. This is rather unique, but if you look at it, it’s just a sophisticated version of another school club story.

Code Geass had its own short comings but why did I ever like Code Geass even though I know that there were stupid plot devices? Now that I think of it, after the two years that have passed, I just can’t explain it clearly to my myself. Was I that immature back then when I started blogging that I’m going to suck-up any cool anime out there even though it obviously does not make sense anymore? But still, whenever somebody asks me an anime that I consider great, Code Geass is more often than not, one among those anime(s) that enter my mind.

Because I succumbed to generic posts, today, I shall be presenting my Top 10 OP. Also, I don’t really know what this list means or does it reflect my personality. I’m not really into high level music stuffs so sorry if I’ll be disappointing if you find the list boring,  or too cliche and ordinary. Anyway, this post is just to share and contemplate on the reasons why I came to like these songs. Then again, do I really have to describe these songs? Makes me want to push the publish button already by simply posting the videos.

I had a hard time collating this post because it’s hard to find HDs of all these OPs.

Sorry, the title is such a troll. I shall be honest, I was one of those who were fascinated when this anime began airing last Fall 2009 because of its intriguing and rather “wtf?” storyline. I don’t remember anymore what was my reason for putting it in on-hold back then but I really remember that I felt awkward after the Kuroha incident. And yes, this is a rant review.

I don’t know if it was just a coincidence that the OP sequence is entitled “Falling Down” because I honestly think the  series had a slump after the Kuroha incident. It’s not like I didn’t liked that arc, but I think the series failed on trying to establish the story properly because of the vast amount of conspiracies and information it is trying to introduce to the audience — to the point it doesn’t make sense anymore. I’m not trying to mention here the good graphics and smooth animation of the series because the viewers would probably agree that it was one of the good points that the anime has, but of course, it won’t be fair to judge it simply because it looked good.
